Privacy Policy

Effective October 17, 2026

The short version: the calculator runs in your browser and your work stays in your browser. We don't have accounts, we don't run a database and we don't receive what you type. This policy covers the Pricing Calculator at pricingcalculator.christinevesterby.com, run by Folio LLC ("Folio", "we", "us").

What stays on your device

Everything you enter, like your firm settings, your rates, your clients and their details, is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. If you add a logo, it is saved there too. If you add a Claude API key, it is saved there and only used to talk to Anthropic.

Files you download (client files, backups, reports, Excel, CSV and Word files) are saved wherever you choose on your device. Files you upload to read, like a transcript, PDF or Word document, are read in your browser and are not sent to us.

You can erase everything at any time from My firm, or by clearing your browser's site data for this site.

What we do receive

Only a few things ever reach us:

• Standard web request information. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare handles basic request information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't add analytics, ad trackers or tracking pixels to the calculator.
• An access code cookie, if the site uses one. If the calculator is locked behind an access code, entering the code saves a small cookie so you don't have to enter it every time. It only proves you entered a valid code. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
• Emails you choose to send. If you use Report a problem, your own email app opens with a message to us. We only get what you choose to send, like your email address, your description and any screenshot. We use it to answer you and fix the problem. Please don't include client files or client names.

Other services your browser talks to

To work, the calculator loads a few things from other companies. When it does, those companies receive standard request information like your IP address:

• Google Fonts, for the fonts on the page.
• jsDelivr and cdnjs (Cloudflare), for the tools that read Word and PDF files. These only load when you upload one of those files.
• Anthropic, only if you add your own Claude API key and press Recommend. The documents you chose to send go straight from your browser to Anthropic under your own account and Anthropic's privacy policy. They don't pass through us.

Cookies and local storage

The calculator uses your browser's local storage to save your work, as described above. The only cookie is the access code cookie, and only when an access code is turned on. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Selling or sharing

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We'd only share information we have (like an email you sent us) if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with a company that takes over Folio's business, under this same policy.

How long we keep things

We keep support emails as long as needed to help you and keep a record of fixes, then delete them. Cloudflare keeps its request logs according to its own policies.

Your choices and rights

Since your work lives on your device, you control it. You can view, change, download or erase it from inside the calculator. If you've emailed us and want that information deleted, or you have questions about your rights under the privacy laws where you live, email [email protected].

Children

The calculator is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because your work is stored in your browser, anyone who can use your device and browser can see it. Lock your device, and don't use the calculator on a shared or public computer for real client work.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the calculator handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
